What does a guided trip look like?

When you book a guided trip with Big B’s Guide Service, we make sure that you have everything you need to have a successful trip. You just worry about bringing appropriate clothes and a snack or beverage, and we’ll set you up with a spot on the boat or seat in the shanty with a pole in your hand.
 

What kind of fish are we fishing for?

Depending on season regulations, we can target any number of fish you’re interested in: we can go for panfish, bass, muskie, walleye, or whatever is biting that day.
 

What is the cost?

Cost is determined by time and by how many people.

Half-day (5 hours):

• 2 people: $400

• 3 people $500

Full-day (8 hours)

• 2 people: $500

• 3 people: $600

Each additional person in the group $100 per person. (Groups of 3 max in the boat.)

All the bait, lures, and gear that you’ll need to use is included in the price.
 

How do I book a trip?

Use the “Make an Appointment” form to select your desired date and time. We’ll reach out to you to confirm availability and we’ll discuss particulars about when and where.
 

What about bad weather?

Nothing is worse than getting soaked or being in really choppy water and still not catching any fish. More importantly, keeping everyone safe is the number one priority. We monitor the weather closely to ensure a positive trip. Weather events that will have to postpone our trip include: high wind, thunderstorms, extreme cold, freezing rain or similar weather that makes travel unsafe. Otherwise we want to go fishing as much as you do!
